The PG Department of Computer Science in association with IT Club conducted an orientation program named “CLICK TO CONFIDENCE” for non-teaching staffs of Noble Women’s College and Noble Public school, Manjeri on behalf of World Computer Literacy Day in the college computer lab on 04-12-2024. The session aimed to literate the non-teaching staffs of Noble Women’s College and Noble Public school, Manjeri and equip staff with essential skills to handle basic digital tasks effectively.
The program began with a warm welcome speech by Mr. Abdul Latheef A, (Asst. Professor, CS Department) who emphasized the significance of computer literacy in enhancing workplace efficiency. The session was formally inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. U Saidalvi, who commended the initiative and encouraged the participants to embrace digital technology in their daily roles. The college Office Superintend Ms.Anitha felicitated the session.
The workshop was led by the resource person, Mr. Suhail Manniyil, who conducted an interactive and practical session. Key topics covered included: Step-by-step guidance on properly shutting down a computer to ensure system safety and longevity, Importance of digital platforms in the day to day life and the basic usage and awareness of it- ATM Card, social media applications, fraudulent call alert etc.
A doubt clearance session was also included, allowing participants to address their queries and gain clarity on areas they found challenging.
The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Fayiza Masood P P (Asst. Professor, CS Department), who expressed gratitude to the resource person, the principal, and all the participants for making the event a success.
