NWC Library

Our library is expansive, contemporary, and fully automated, boasting an extensive array of books across diverse fields. With a collection of 6782 books, we also provide access to subscribed journals, magazines, newspapers, and previous examination question papers. Utilizing KOHA, an open-source integrated library management system, our library operations, including circulation and cataloging, are streamlined. Additionally, patrons can easily locate documents through our Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), a computerized catalog service.

The library operates in a completely automated fashion, utilizing the Integrated Library Management software KOHA version 21.11.09.000 to efficiently manage library resources and facilitate seamless information retrieval

Membership

Membership registration for library access is open to all members of the institution, including students, faculty, and staff, enabling them to utilize its resources and services for academic, research, and administrative purposes

Borrowing

Undergraduate students may borrow up to three books for a period of 15 days, while postgraduate students have the privilege of borrowing up to five books within the same timeframe. Teachers are allowed to borrow up to ten books for a duration of 30 working days, and staff members are entitled to borrow three books for a period of 15 days.

Working Hours

The library is open from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on all working days. However, book issuance and returns are only permitted between 9:00 am and 3:45 pm.
